United Arab Emirates Peace Agreement With Israel
In June, he wrote a letter published by a prominent Hebrew newspaper in Israel, in which he told the Israeli government that his election was annexation or normalization. He actually says, and I quote: “Israel`s decision on annexation will be an unequivocal signal. Annexation is a misguided provocation of another order. Then he lays a red line. If you do, forget that you have normal relations with the U.A.E. And this is a really important moment in this story. Because it clarifies the elections for the Israeli government. It also clarifies the election and the chances for the Trump administration. On Monday, 19 October 2020, it was confirmed that the United Arab Emirates (the United Arab Emirates) had ratified the peace agreement between the United Arab Emirates and Israel for the establishment of full diplomatic relations and the normalization of broader relations in the travel, business and agreement agreement between the two countries. The treaty – officially the treaty of peace, diplomatic relations and complete normalization between the United Arab Emirates and the State of Israel (commonly known as the “UAE-Israel Abraham Accord”) was signed on September 15, 2020 at the White House in Washington, D.C. (Click here for the full text of the contract.) Ordinary Palestinians turned to social media to protest the deal and some also insulted Vae. Meanwhile, Abbas Zaki, a member of Fatah`s Central Committee, called the agreement a breakdown of the Arab consensus on the management of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. He accused the United Arab Emirates of betraying Arabs and Palestinians before asking the ANP to withdraw its ambassador from the United Arab Emirates and also called on the Arab League to cancel the 2002 Arab peace initiative.
Well, I would say there are a number of reasons. Start with the fact that their peace efforts in the Middle East, led by the president`s son-in-law, Jared Kushner, have stalled. So it was a way of starting a process that was really paralyzed. According to Al-Jazeera, other leaders and groups, including the Islamic Jihad movement in Palestine, unanimously rejected the agreement. Mustafa Barghouti, head of the Palestinian National Initiative, said they were not surprised by the recent actions taken by the United Arab Emirates and the fact that the Emiratis had never attempted to fight Israel. He added that this could encourage other nations to ignore the Palestinian issue. The head of the Palestine Liberation Front, Wasel Abu Yousef, said the agreement would only give Israel greater influence over its occupation. ANP Social Affairs Minister Ahmed Majdalani said they did not know the agreement in advance and that the UAE was bartering the others, while unilaterally changing the Arab world`s approach to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Joe Biden, Trump`s opponent in the 2020 U.S. presidential election, praised the agreement, building on “the efforts of several governments to promote greater Arab-Israeli openness, including the Obama-Biden administration`s efforts to build on the Arab peace initiative.” The parties recognize the need for mutually beneficial cooperation for the development of telecommunications, information and postal technologies. They note the creation of direct communications services, including telephone lines, between them, and agree to promote direct mail exchanges, submarine cables and e-commerce solutions, as well as the use of available satellite systems, fibre optic communications and broadcasting services, in accordance with relevant international conventions and regulations.
